Scottish Terrier Quaint Theofilo Best in Show at Helsinki Winner 2023. The dog is owned by Arja Tuuliniemi. The Best in Show judge was Moa Persson from Sweden. 7356 dogs were entered to Saturday’s shows, 850 of these competed in Helsinki Winner Puppy Show.

Best in Show at the Finnish Winner Show, Voittaja 2021, was Reijo Portala’s Scottish Terrier Quaint Sherry Perry. The breeder of the dog is also Reijo Portala. Best in Show judge was Marja Talvitie.

In December 2023, the European Commission published a proposal for a regulation governing the welfare and traceability of dogs and cats. The processing of the regulation in the EU institutions is now in its final stages, and it is expected to be adopted before the summer.
