Best in Show at Kiev Euro Dog Show on 24th–27th August 2017 was the Old English Sheepdog Bottom Shaker Zephyr Dream from Hungary, owner Joszef Koroknai. Some 6 000 dogs from 55 different countries were entered to the show.

In addition to the three-day Euro Dog Show, a one-day International show with 2 300 entries as well as a National show with 1 500 entries took place in Kiev.

Finnish dogs were successful at these shows, collecting several European Winner titles as well as Junior and Veteran Winner titles.

Both at the Euro Dog Show and the International show, Best in Show Junior was also chosen. In this competition, three Finnish dogs won their respective groups at the Euro Dog Show: Brazilian Terrier Wildrunner's Catch the Game, owned by Pirjo Ylösmäki, Wirehaired Dachshund Tres Pinheiros Wild Again, owned by Sari Hirvonen, and American Cocker Spaniel Sanparti's Born to Be Vigie, owned by Heidi Kangas. Skye Terrier Finnsky Krystal, owned by Carina Kitti, was placed as BIG 3 in the main competitions. Tibetan Terrier Falamandus Remastered Edition, living in Germany but bred in Finland by Tanja Hakamo, won group 9 at the group competitions. Italian Pointing Dog Fikret’s Diego Di Pelle, owned by Marika and Teemu Tenhunen, was BIS 2 Veteran.

BIS Junior of the International show on Thursday was Bichon Frisé Keymaker's Can't Get Your Eyes Off Me, owner Elina Keinänen. Carina Kitti and Thea Dahlbom's kennel Finnsky Skye Terriers were chosen as the Best in Show Breeders group at the show.

The FCI Europe Section General Assembly convened on 28th August in Kiev. It was decided that Euro Dog Show 2021 is going to take place in Hungary.
