On its meeting on 8th March 2022, the Board of the Finnish Kennel Club specified its guidelines regarding registration to Finland of dogs imported from Russia and Belarus. By this special procedure, a dog that has been issued an Export Pedigree no later than 15th March 2022 by the Russian Kynological Federation (RKF) or the Belorussian Cynological Union (BCU), can be registered with the Finnish Kennel Club.

For the time being, the Finnish Kennel Club aims to organize Koiramessut – Dog Fair Finland in Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre on 18–19.12.2021. The entries to all four dog shows held over the weekend are opened in the beginning of September.
