The Finnish Kennel Club and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Helsinki have a joint Canine health research fund that aims to promote the opportunities of the health care of our four-legged companions. In addition, the Finnish Kennel Club budgets an annual sum to be distributed as grants to canine research.

Registration to the 5th International Dog Health Workshop is now open. The final registration deadline for the event is May 10, 2024

By having your dog vaccinated, you can protect it from dangerous infectious diseases. A dog that participates in different canine events must be accompanied by a vaccination certificate, where the dog’s identification marking as well as the expiry date of vaccinations is recorded.  In dog shows and trials in Finland, the Finnish Kennel Club’s Omakoira mobile application also serves as an official vaccination certificate.
