The International Canine Federation FCI is marking its anniversary by launching a campaign highlighting the importance of pedigree dogs to society.

Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI), founded in 1911, the organization plays an important international role in promoting the breeding of pedigree dogs, working abilities, breed-typical behavior, as well as health and welfare. Finland joined FCI as a member in 1935.

In its anniversary campaign, FCI raises the question: Imagine a life without them. In an increasingly connected world dogs across all cultures are a universal symbol of partnership, service and emotional connection. The campaign celebrates their role and reinforces the collective responsibility to preserve their heritage.

More information about FCI can be found from their webpage.
