The Finnish Kennel Club publishes the magazine Koiramme. It is Finland's most-read dog journal with more than 380,000 readers. It is circulated to every Finnish Kennel Club member 10 times a year.
The Finnish Canine Museum collects, preserves and exhibits online items related to Finnish native dog breeds and canine culture from the 19th century onwards.
The Finnish Kennel Club's youth-themed year is full of events for the young people and for those adults, who work with them.
Finland has five native dog breeds: the Karelian Bear Dog, the Lapponian Herder, the Finnish Hound, the Finnish Lapphund and the Finnish Spitz, which is our national breed.
Welcome to Helsinki on 10-11 December. Winner shows and seperate puppy shows bring thousands of dogs to Messukeskus, Expo and Convention Centre.
