Espoo, 21 November 2012 – English- and Swedish-language versions of the Finnish Kennel Club dog breeding database have now been launched. The Finnish Kennel Club system is a pioneer in its field. Finns examine and analyse their dogs thoroughly, and the publication of the information thus gathered serves both dog breeders and people looking to buy a new dog. Registration is not required to access the service and information on registered dogs can be browsed freely.

Espoo, 18 October 2012 – The Finnish Kennel Club has launched a puppy referral service on its website. It displays a breed-specific list of puppies that have reached the age of 7–8 weeks and are available for purchase. The litter-specific sections contain links to the pages of breed clubs, information on the sire and dam as well as details on the breed standard. Users can compare this information to the puppy lists presented on the breed clubs' own referral pages.
